First of all, a note about Karen. Karen is @dougalsbeard on Twitter. If the thought “I would never be IRL friends with someone who uses an animal/character/inanimate object as a Twitter profile/avi” has crossed your mind, you are a major idiot. Becoming friends with a woman who uses Graham McTavish’s beard as her online moniker is the best decision we ever made. Karen has fast become a great friend of TN and myself personally, and we were so glad to spend time together in NYC. Plus she killed these interviews with Lotte, Ron and Gary!
TN Talks to Lotte Verbeek
In possibly her best moment ever, Karen asks if Outlander fans “passion” is code for raving lunatics. Lotte is, of course, not going to talk bad about the show’s fans, but she does say some interesting things about how fandom like we have here in America does NOT exist in Holland!
We loved heard from Lotte what she would tell fans about Geillis. She is clearly a FAN and defender of her character. Check it out:

Ron Moore and Comedian Gary Lewis
Have you guys met comedian Gary Lewis (Colum). That man is hilarious! We saw that with our red carpet interview with him and Graham, and he was ON in this interview with Karen!
Karen talks to Gary about Outlander being a love letter to Scotland and how Gary sees that manifesting itself “back home.” The advice Gary gives Ron per the Scottish fans, is hilarious!
