Getting Hyped for Insurgent

In case you are still in an Outlander Paleyfest hangover, ignoring everything That’s Normal has posted on social media recently, or are living under a rock, Insurgent is out in theaters on Thursday.  My love of the Divergent series has been documented, as you can see from this post about getting my husband to be an extra in Insurgent.  Unfortunately, when you are one of hundreds of extras, they don’t fly you out go to the premiere, so you have to wait to see it when it comes out in theatres just like everyone else. (They are having a screening for extras and crew in Atlanta on Wednesday, but our jobs prevented that from happening. Sad face.)  So while I’m anxiously awaiting Thursday night, I’m busying myself with being jealous of Bekah and all her fabulous pictures from the NYC premiere on Monday, and watching all the press junket / media blitz footage that I can find.  So, if you’re like me, and have to wait until this weekend to see Theo and Shai’s beautiful faces on the big screen, here are some fun interviews to hold you over.

We’ll start off by bringing back memories of your adolescent sleepovers, with the cast giving  out yearbook superlatives.

Next up, Shai and Theo ask each other questions, and we get to find out Theo’s spirit animal.

Here is an interview where the cast tries to sell the movie using a bunch of slang terms, of which I’ve only heard a few.  It makes me feel a lot better that they don’t know them either.
