Ryan Gosling has a New Movie: Lost River

RYAN GOSLING HAS A NEW MOVIE

Okay so that was sorta false advertising because you (and me both) assumed Ryan Gosling was IN the film, but Lost River is Ryan Gosling’s debut as both Director and Writer! The trailer looks dark and creepy (and that one guy looks like a young Ryan Gosling, doncha think?) and I can’t wait to learn more. Here is what we know about the film so far:

“Lost River” is a dark fairy tale about love, family and the fight for survival in the face of danger. In the virtually abandoned city of Lost River, Billy (Christina Hendricks), a single mother of two, is led into a macabre underworld in her quest to save her childhood home and hold her family together. Her teenage son Bones (Iain De Casestecker) discovers a mystery about the origins of Lost River that triggers his curiosity and sets into motion an unexpected journey that will test his limits and the limits of those he loves.

There seems to be an underwater town which naturally makes me wonder if there are secret mermaids…

Lost River is In Theatres April 10 and Available Same Day on Digital HD
