I was having a bit of a rough day yesterday, as I locked myself out of my apartment with my apartment and car keys on the inside. A couple hours later, I was back at work, dredging through the mass quantities of emails that somehow reproduce at an exponential rate when your out-of-office is turned on. It was crap-tastic until during I came across the new Pitch Perfect 2 trailer. It changed my life….
Okay, it made me extremely happy. You can see why.
WE HAVE THE PLOT!
I totally would have seen this movie if the plot were never revealed, but the Bellas are back in the underdog position. Who doesn’t love to route for team USA as an underdog? It’s like that time that Rocky went to Russia in Rocky IV (It’s Bekah’s favorite of the franchise), except this time the USA is competing against the evil German robot-like singers and instead of punches, people are getting pitch-slapped. (Pats self on back, for somehow making that analogy work.)
FAT AMY STILL HAS THE BEST LINES
Plus, she’s the catalyst of our favorite Collegiate a capella’s group current dilemma…she showed her V to the P…, the President. An unfortunate wardrobe malfunction worse than Janet Jackson’s nipple with insane nipple ring in front of the largest TV audience of the year.
