Sometimes you are just innocently watching episodes of a TV show and you stop short (as in put down the cell phone and stop trying to perfect the best selfie angle in your new apartment) because there is just something about the person on screen. Well, you may read this post and stop short (as in recap your mascara and stop doing your makeup at your desk), because this man has that effect.
Let me introduce you to Steve Kazee.
Perhaps it is just a cliché to fall for a man with a guitar who can sing, but DAMN, I am falling for a man with a guitar who can sing. Steve Kazee is currently on Shameless playing Fiona Gallagher’s latest love interest, Gus. I basically have been watching the past few episodes agog for any screen time with this man. Their scenes are hot.

And because the internet doesn’t disappoint, there’s already a tribute video to this surely doomed couple (it is Shameless after all.)
If you are wondering why this man hasn’t graced your screen previously, he was a bit busy on broadway winning a Tony award. Steve originated the role of Guy in the show Once. Yes, he has this amazing voice.
He’s also a bit of a goof as evident in these clips (read: my perfect man plays the guitar, sings, is a bit of a goof and is tall dark and handsome.)
If you are anything like me, you won’t fall slowly (SEE WHAT I DID THERE?), but hard for his talent and good looks .
Finally, because EGBTT, you may recognize Steve’s voice from that wedding you attended last month when you heard the duet version of 1000 Years, no not the Bekah karaoke version.
We may have moved on from Aaron Tveit (or kind of forgot about his show), but Broadway is full of talent for us to discover after everyone else.
