Meh. Which is a shame because The Hunger Game movies have been AWESOME so far. Jennifer Lawrence is LITERALLY my bff (who doesn’t know it) and in the coming weeks we are going to inundated with more awesome responses to the celeb nude photo thefts.
It’s partly because I think Mockingjay is one of the worst ends to a book series EVER (Until I read Allegiant. NOW YOU WIN VERONICA ROTH) and also because I JUST saw a Press Release entitlted:

Ah yes, partnering with Doritos AND the non-profit arm of a corporation whose first core value is “Selling the highest quality natural and organic products available.” Makes a WHOLE lotta sense….
Hunger Games has done what every major blockbuster series does eventually– gotten too big {Doritos, Really?}. It happens. I get it. It doesn’t bother me really (Hi Twilight circa 2008-2012) but when it overtakes the world AND your favorite snack food aisle at the grocery store, it’s easy to feel a little like this:
BUT I DON’T WANT TO!
For one, this movie looks GOOD. Like.. they might actually make the second-worst end to a trilogy EVER really good!
For two, the soundtrack will be KILLER. Remember “Safe & Sound” from Taylor Swift + {RIP} The Civil Wars *sighing forever*. I’m already loving this song Lorde released last week:

ASK ME HOW I FEEL ABOUT GALE NOT HAVING AN OFFICIAL POSTER LIKE THIS. I DARE YOU.
But despite Gale’s absence & Suzanne Collins’ horrific treatment of him in Mockingjay, I am getting excited to see the film and exactly what point they end the first one and make us furious we have to wait another year for Part 2.
