2015 is (almost) upon us, and we’re excited about just a few things next year. So without further ado, here is What we’re ready to lose our minds over in 2015

JANUARY: NEW SEX CRIMINALS IS OUT!!

Seriously, if you’re not reading this comic series by Matt Fraction & Chip Zdarksy we don’t know what we’re all doing here. It’s funny and sexy and grown up and jeez. Way to revitalize comics, guys! Out 1/13/15, you can preorder now so you’re sure to get it. Need more Fraction? Try his take on Hawkeye. You’ll thank us.

FEBRUARY: The Fifty Shades movie.

Yeah, we said it. Fandom is thicker than blood, okay? Also, this book has created millions of new readers and you can bet your ass if this movie does well, Hollywood is going to want a lot more just like it. Plus, Jamie Dornan. *sighs* Also, our sweet little e-short BEAUTIFUL BELOVED his shelves Feb 2^nd. Max & Sara & baby! (But lbr, it’s mostly Max & Sara because we write grown up books and no one needs to remember the baby is in the other room in the crib.)

MARCH: NEW COLLEEN HOOVER!!

Confess is out March 10, 2015. Get on that, folks. Also: INSURGENT!! More of Theo James’ mouth, please. Fuck it, let’s just do 20-second shots of Theo’s mouth interspersed with the rest of it.

APRIL: BEAUTIFUL SECRET IS OUT IN THE WORLD!!

::breathes into paper bag:: Niall is Max’s brother and a little stiff . . . if you know what we mean (of course you do, pigs!) but we can all help him work it out. Also, we hit London for an author event. Come smoosh us! ALSO!! The DUFF hits theaters. We loved this book by Kody Keplinger and think it will make a kick ass YA adaptation so get out there and support, y’all!

MAY: PITCH PERFECT 2!!

JUNE: CLo Does Australia.

Sure it’s the continent with more deadly animals than any other continent in the world but it’s also the birthplace of such amazing humans as Hugh Jackman (90’s Hugh Jackman is our BB), Heath Ledger, Rachel Griffiths, the writer of magic fic words The Black Arrow, Paul Hogan, Oliver Lore (from Wild Seasons, folks), Guy Pearce, Russell Crow and some weird redhead who once married Tom Cruise. OH—also all the amazeballs readers and writers we will meet while we’re there. We are eating shrimp straight from the barbie, y’all.

JULY: SAN DIEGO COMIC CON

God, it gets more insane every year but maybe that’s why we love it. The fog of nerd pheromones, boobies spilling out everywhere, too many panels and not enough time, and of course the times Tom Cruise decides to run into a women’s restroom to profess his love to everyone—these are the things we live for. There’s also a certain boy band coming to San Diego we might be seeing . . . who knows. ALSO! The Point Break re-dux is 7/31/15. Who thinks this is going to be awesome? Yeah, us either.

AUGUST: Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Sometimes the travel and writing is this giant blender of chaos and awesome and adrenaline, but sometimes we need to just close the door and binge-watch television and eat Nutella with a spoon. This is the only thing we are looking forward to in August. Oh, and a One Direction concert with Brie and Leiah because obviously. Hmm what else?

Oh and maybe also the ME BEFORE YOU movie on August 21, 2015 AND EVERYONE IN THE WORLD NEEDS TO SEE THIS BECAUSE THIS BOOK IS AMAZING AND IT STARS SAM AND EMILIA AND WE LOVE LOU AND WILL AND THIS BOOK KILLED US AND JFIKDLA;JDFKA;FJDKF.

SEPTEMBER: DARK WILD NIGHT is out in the world!

Since we first outlined the stories in the WILD SEASONS series, we have been dying to write this book. Oliver loves Lola. Lola loves Oliver. But can they get their heads out of the comic books long enough to make something happen? Or will Always-Steady Oliver manage to completely bungle this? TUNE IN TO FIND OUT. Lo will also be taking her kids to see Hotel Transylvania 2, so there’s that. And the second Maze Runner movie is out (What’s up Dylan O! ::cougars all over that::).

OCTOBER: Our second YA novel, BREATHLESS hits stores!

Woot! This is the Edward Scissorhands/Monster House/Stephen King’s Christine mashup and we scared ourselves writing it. Good times!! When you finish reading that, go see Jem and the Holograms.
