We haven’t addressed the celebrity nudes here on TN because we didn’t really know how to do it in a TN-manner but if we were two comedic feminists in LA- we would have TOTALLY addressed it this way because
OF COURSE THE WORLD NEEDS SOME RYAN GOSLING DICK PICS
and by that above statement, what I REALLY mean is, this was a hilarious, totally appropriate satirical response to the nude pics crime*. I bow down to their genius.
Upon searching the intewebs (aka their 4 vids on You Tube) for more about the girls behind this vid, I discovered this is a comedy troupe of two girls called the Cotillion Girls Comedy. {Of course if you’re like me, you immediately thought about the Cotillion episode in the first season of The OC -RIP BEST SHOW EVER} I don’t know the meaning behind the name, but I do know the same two girls are the ones behind THIS amazing video:
Feminism + Comedy = Love
Also apparently there was a Cheerios controversy I missed, dammit. Probably that one time I cleaned my bathroom:
I can’t wait for more from Katie & Rosey. These girls are TOTALLY up the TN ally.

What did you think of their satirical take on the nude photos? Too much? Not Enough?
*a crime is what it was. And full-disclosure: I looked at many of the photos within an hour of the leak, many margaritas in. I’m not saying I wouldn’t have looked if I was sober- I probably would have. It wasn’t until I stepped back & thought about what actually happened- that this wasn’t a star “accidentally” tweeting her nudes- that this was a terrible invasion of privacy that none of those girls every expected, asked for or deserved- that I felt terrible that I looked. I’m sickened at the redditers, the 4chaners, the tweeters, the commenters and more who don’t see this for what it was- a sex crime. Nude photos for yourself or a loved one aren’t new in this “digital age”. And they aren’t wrong. Back in the day a hot guy like a Jack in Titanic would draw you nude. After that they were on film you would develop in the privacy of your home. Then they were on rolls of film that maybe a Wal-mart photo center employee would be privy to (I have no idea, never thought about it before). And now they exist on a personal cell phone & some “cloud” no one understands that you never ever think anyone will have access to except yourself or the person you send them too. Maybe that’s a dumb way to think in this digital cloud-based age, but a LOT of people assume privacy (including me) and never think about the consequences beyond a sexy reaction from the person they are trying to turn on. Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton etc. are normal females who want to turn their men on just like you + I. They just happen to be much, much hotter than us. Damn them.
