I don’t like to brag about “successes” we have here at That’s Normal, but I’m totally going to do that today because I’ve made it you guys. (almost) 6 years after writing on the internet day in and day out, after countless interviews with directors and screenwriters I’ve pretended to be knowledgeable about, after faking my way through too many to count red carpet interviews, I HAVE MADE IT.

A publicist found out how much I love cats, and contacted me to not only cover an illustrator/fellow cat lovers work, but send me a free book entitled: I Knead My Mommy and Other Poems by Kittens

You may recognize the illustrator’s work as he is the author of “I Could Pee on This and Other Poems by Cats.” NYC-based cartoonist Francesco Marciuliano channeled his grief after losing his two cats into these funny cartoons & poems. I currently have the calendar version of his first book in my kitchen:
