“Our Leader the Mockingjay” Teaser Trailer!

Unfortunately there wasn’t much of a Hunger Games presence at Comic Con this year in terms of cast members or panel discussions, but we did get one thing. A new Mockingjay teaser trailer! And not a propaganda style one, an actual trailer with footage that will be in the movie!

It starts off by giving us our first look at Julianne Moore as President Coin, as she argues with Plutarch about whether or not Katniss can be the Mockingjay. We also see Natalie Dormer as Cressida for the first time, who looks crazy badass, and Gale. (A very hearty “Thank You” to Mr. and Mrs. Hemsworth for gifting your sons to the world, btw.)

There’s a weird Mockingjay crop circle-y thing, President snow declaring that anything having to do with the symbol is forbidden, and a bunch of quick action shots.

But then SHE ARRIVES. We’ve been waiting patiently for Katniss to make an appearance in these trailers, and she does not disappoint. Jennifer Lawrence really can do no wrong. There are so many things I can say, but you need to watch for yourself!
