I found myself reading a book recently wishing the character could just be a little more like Veronica Mars, you know, more snark, wit, humor, intelligence, banter, confidence. I mean, watch this compilation of best VM moments and tell me you don’t wish for a little more of her spunk in your life, always.
Imagine with me a world injected with a little more badassery (I word I totally made up, but clearly works in this instance.) Imagine all those YA novels where you wanted to smack the girl around for all the self-doubt and shame spirals. [Full disclosure: I already spent a full 20 minutes imagining Twi Fic where Bella was a sleuthy, witty, confident teen with a taser. The one-liners would be priceless. Then when on to fully re-imagine Divergent casting with a young Kristen Bell, now that would be a movie to be excited about!] Thankfully, Rob Thomas understands my need for more Veronica in my life and plans to let her life on in book form that will continue on the story after the upcoming movie. Think of the possibilities! Grown up Veronica, so much adult trouble to get herself in and out of.
