“Hey guys! And welcome to a very special edition of TN’s Boozy Book Club!”
If you’ve been with us since this summer, then you’ve heard that at least seven times. Because we’ve had exactly seven Boozy Book Club hangouts, and one of us opens it that way every time. We aren’t sure why. But we do know that what makes each one of them unique and special is usually our level of drunkenness. HOWEVER THIS MONTH WE ACTUALLY MEAN IT.
We’ve done all kinds of books in Boozy Book Club … urban fantasy (was that what you would call Written in Red??), dystopian YA, genre fiction, paranormal YA, horror/suspense, comic books and classics. One category we hadn’t delved into: New Adult. But with one of my personal favorite romance authors debuting her first NA title this month, we decided it was a perfect time to get into an imperfect genre. We gave away a copy Deeper by Ruthie Knox (writing NA under Robin York) earlier this month, and we are READY TO TALK ABOUT IT.
BUT HERE’S THE AWESOME PART. Romance (and now New Adult) author extraordinaire Ruthie/Robin will be WITH US for our Boozy Book Club hangout next Tuesday, February 25 at a new time 9:00 pm EST. You guys!! We get to ask all the important questions direct to the source (like who is Ruthie’s dream cast guy for West)! And you will get to join us. Go to our Goodreads group and put in your questions for Ruth. Watch live with us on Tuesday night, and use the twitter hashtag #TNBookClub to talk directly to us and Ruthie during the hangout. We know you have questions … because we do too!
It’s gonna be a great night, and maybe we will get an exclusive peak into what’s next for Caroline and West! CANNOT WAIT!
