I’ve heard that the perfect gift is something that the person loves, but would never indulge in and buy for themselves. For instance, I’ve been ogling these bags for a good two years, but I’ve never actually bought one. I would love the person who bought one for me. Love.

Christmas Gift Guide, Gift Guide 2013

R. Riveter bags are the kind of bag that can last for decades and become a part of someone’s identity. This is the present for a person who values their belongings, and likes to have a story and meaning behind them.

The leather and canvas R. Riveter bags are handmade in America from recycled military materials like tents, blankets and uniforms. On top of that, they only employ military spouses, and the company was named for Rosie the Riveter. So this bag and America are basically synonymous. Not many gifts allow you to pull out that card at the holidays.

R. Riveter bags are simple, but have a rugged design that gives them a complex look, adding to the wardrobe of anyone who favors classic fashion. The bags are literally a statement piece, and are on a specific mission to “renew the romance that once was, and to inspire pride and patriotism into the hearts of many.”
