I don’t know about you guys, but I have tea every morning. I don’t have anything against coffee, but when I first wake up, tea seems like the gentler beverage to start my day with. It’s delicious, versatile, and ups your fanciness level by like, infinity. After I make my tea in the morning, I usually sit down and look at Tumblr for a few hours minutes to see what’s new in the land of fandom. Which is how I found out that Adagio Teas has an entire section of its website dedicated to Fandom Blends. There is a special tea inspired by the characters for all kinds of different fandoms. The Hunger Games, Marvel, Jane Austen, etc… Fun, right?!
But if the person you’re buying for this holiday season is a bit indecisive, or likes a lot of different types of tea, there is also a section on the website for Fandom Samplers. Each set has ten one-ounce tins with different tea blends from a particular fandom collection. A fan of British television might greatly enjoy either the “Sherlock Sampler” or the “Doctor Who Sampler,” with different blends dedicated to characters on the shows. There are also sets for other shows, like Supernatural and Game of Thrones.
My personal favorite would be the Harry Potter themed “Magic Potions Sampler.” I never got my Hogwarts letter, so sucking down some Skele-gro inspired tea is the closest I’m going to get to the magical world. Any way you decide to go, it’s going to be lots of yummy fun for the geeky tea-lover in your life!
