HEY Y’ALL!!!
This is how every email/group message/chat etc about YALLfest has begun with the TN crew. Because. Y’all. YALLfest is imminent and WE WILL BE THERE!
Never heard of YALLfest? It’s a YA Book and Author Fest in Charleston, South Carolina. You’ve heard of Veronica Roth. Gayle Forman. Leigh Bardugo. Rainbow Rowell and about a gajillion other YA authors right? Yeah. They will be there. Hanging out with us. Doing shots. Karaoke. Taking ill-advised midnight strolls down Foley Beach.
While I’m super stoked to meet the authors listed above as well as Libba Bray, David Levithan and tons of others, Jamie is super excited to meet Christopher Pike and Lois Duncan. (Jamie clearly has NO idea who is attending, and is only coming to snuggle with me and meet my Aunt Mildred).
YALLfest is less than two weeks away, and we – JAMIE AND BETH – (along with That’s Normal friends Ellie and Carrie) will be there, letting loose, having fun, getting books signed, acting crazy, meeting twitter buddies, arguing about the end of Allegiant.
But before we go, we want your help! Do you have any really great questions for the authors that we will see? Any lesser known authors that we should REALLY meet and whose books we should make sure to put on our MUST BUY list? I have to tell you, I already thought of sending a package to my cousin’s house in Charleston full of books to get signed because otherwise I would have to check a couple of bags.
More than anything, we can’t wait to recap all the great stories we will have for you!! We are meeting up with SO MANY OF OUR AWESOME TWITTER BOOK LOVERS!! Cannot wait!!
