Found It: Fashion on TV – Possessionista

I am a woman who whole-heartedly believes in the power of a girl crush. I have many of them and I am not ashamed. They inspire me, make me laugh, and in general make me a better person. My latest girl crush is Dana (aka the Possessionista). Dana is making me a better person through fashion. No she’s not running some sort of charity where she throws out all my yoga pants and make me wear REAL ACTUAL pants, in fact in her bio she says she hates charity work (to each her own).

Instead, Dana is making me a more stylish person through my most favorite avenue: Television. Dana started a blog called Possessionista, on which she breaks down outfits from her favorite television shows and tells readers where they can get these outfits or outfits like them for much cheaper. Let’s be honest, I’m not shelling out two grand for Hayden Panettiere’s red sequined booty dress no matter how hot she looked on Nashville.

I would also like to point out that Dana has impeccable taste in tv shows, in that she covers almost all of my favorites (IE Girls, Hart of Dixie, only the best, really!). Want to know about that sweatshirt that Aria wore in the latest episode of Pretty Little Liars because you can’t find it anywhere? That’s because it hasn’t come out yet, but Possessionista knows where you can pre-order it! Want to get that dress Rayna James wore to her concert before she got dumped by her husband? Possessionista knows where you can get it, ON SALE! They may not be digging wells for clean water but this is some charity work we ALL need.

What about all of those skanky and sometimes cute dresses on the Bachelor? She’s got ‘em and let me tell you now, they are cheap- surprise, surprise!

Looking for Hannah Horvath’s mesh tank top from that one Wednesday night dance party? Oh.. no luck here, check your local Salvation Army or on your dance partner at Rage.

Now, I have mixed feelings about sharing this treasure trove of secrets with you because you might run out and buy all of these super cute clothes before I do. But how about we just call me the Mother Theresa of fashion? Ok, maybe just the Heidi Klum of fashion.
