Luke Cage is part of the Marvel Universe and a member of the Defenders, made up of vigilantes Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Daredevil, and Luke Cage. While Jessica Jones and Daredevil were centered around Hell’s Kitchen, from the trailer, it looks like Luke Cage will take place mostly in Harlem.
In the comics, Luke is imprisoned for a crime he did not commit and is indestructible with the strength to go with it. Luke Cage is a reluctant hero (my favorite type) and I adored him in Jessica Jones. His chemistry with Krysten Ritter was so hot I needed to fan myself off after some scenes.

September 30th can’t come fast enough. If you haven’t watched Daredevil and Jessica Jones, you have plenty of time to binge them. Until then, who else is going to have Luke Cage on reply for the next few weeks?
