And if I won’t stand up and represent all the people who want a Time for Tom teacup, then I ask you, who will?
Dear That’s Normal Merchandise,
The people have spoken: we need teacups.
You may call them coffee mugs if you would like, I won’t be bothered by the terminology used, as long as there is an end result. Time for Tom teacups does sound more appropriate, but fikas’ emphasis is on coffee. So, coffee mugs and teacups, let’s say.
Since I know Stacy is super busy living on the beach and being awesome, I figured I’d put together some helpful design suggestions for her!
Time for Tom Teacups:
It’s likely no one knows this since it happens inside my head, but whenever I read or write out “Time for Tom,” I always mentally say, “It’s always time!” This gives me a little giggle every time at the absurdity of writing about Tom like an obsessed person. That’s the inspiration for this design:
Clearly we need something straightforward and classic, so I suggest this Tom B&W in which he’s putting sugar into his tea (yes, I’m aware it’s likely an espresso, not tea):
Serious bonus points if you get this lyrics reference
Of course we need this one, darling:
Finally, no proper tea is sorted without a little laughter, just look at Mary Poppins if you don’t believe me. Ehehehehe:
The Museum Stackables Series…
Fika Coffee Mugs:
I felt like a basic TN design could work here since we all are having fikarast together! The great That’s Normal Fika and such… and then I thought, “Why not throw in some ‘Cheers’ as well?”
And of course, what’s a fikarast without a Skarsgård? Take Alex or Gustaf to go!
Ta un fika daily with your favorite Swede…
BONUS! Time for Tom Inspired Pint Glasses
This is an easy little bonus because all this coffee talk has made me crave beer. Since I already created a line of Tom Hiddleston beers, I thought we should just slap them on a pint glass and call it a day. Collect all 4!!!
So, there you go, plenty of inspiration to get Stacy moving and grooving on some new designs for the fall line! I sincerely hope these helped in moving this teacup effort forward. We remain thirsty…
Best Regards,
Lorena
