Mumps. That’s a funny word.
After being told Jake and Holt had developed the mumps and may develop EXTREME testicular discomfort, both Captain Holt and Jake responded with a very uncomfortable: “Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool!”
Miracle of Movement
Anyone who watches the Brooklyn Nine-Nine knows, Gina lives to dance. She dances to live. It’s who she is. It’s what she does. That’s why she is: A Miracle of Movement.
Gina better watch out, Boyle’s got some moves.
Goiters
I don’t if goiters really do happen with mumps or not and honestly I am way to scared of what grossness may pop-up on my computer screen to even attempt a quick google search. So all I am going to say is this: Jake and Captain Holt developed goiters from their mumps. Jake named his goiter Simon and Captain Holt named his Balthazar. According to the Captain, Balthazar is in fact a “Thirsty Bitch”. #YESSSSS
The Mumps Have Reached My Testicles
Then came the moment when that EXTREME testicular discomfort we discussed before became a real thing that really happened. Popsicles and peas were placed in ahhh…swollen places.
Trust us grumpy cat, you wouldn’t want those popsicles. #Gross
Rosa Gets a Dog
Sadly, Boyle’s dog Jason passed away. Rosa thought she could replace him with a new puppy and make Boyle get back to work. In the end, Rosa got a new puppy and threatened the entire Nine-Nine if anything ever happened to it. Welcome to the Nine-Nine little Arlo, you’re super adorbs.
Honestly, this week’s episode was so funny it was really hard for my husband and I to agree to our five funniest moments. Some honorable mentions are: Jake passing out from a fever, Captain Holt writing case and kase repeatedly on a window, Holt and Jake getting into a goiter poking fight, Terry slamming a door and breaking a large portion of the Nine-Nine, and Hitchcock and Scully fighting over a meatball sub.
I wish I worked at the Nine-Nine. *sigh* Till next week friends. Try not to catch the mumps, that looked terrible.
Did you watch this week’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine?
