Is it REALLY almost 2013? Wasn’t it August just yesterday? I can’t believe it. But apparently no matter how I feel, 2013 will be here tomorrow. I’m excited to be ringing it in with my bff’s in New York City (no, not in Times Square. If I ever end up in Times Square on New Year’s Eve I will know I’ve died and gone to hell… which would be a pretty bad way to start 2013.)
I’m terrible at keeping new year resolutions. TERRIBLE. I’m embarrassed to share what I said I’d do this year because it didn’t even come CLOSE to happening. So instead of making resolutions, I’ll just share:
That’s about all I know that I guarantee will happen. But there are some:
Nikki & I had such great success with our 2012 Letters to Twilight Resolutions (in case you’re keeping score this year it was 4= UC/Moon 3= People who want us to fail) and our LTT resolutions overall (basically all our dreams came true with that blog EXCEPT for meeting Big Daddy Lautner. UGH. That one seemed SO attainable too!) that it makes me nervous to make resolutions for That’s Normal.
I’d like to resolve that Nikki gets to visit the Game of Thrones set, I get to sing a duet on Nashville with Sam Palladio and Jamie gets to be an extra on True Blood, but let’s be honest, Nikki will probably just live tweet GOT every Sunday night, Jamie will be the last one standing watching True Blood (I actually don’t even remember if she watches it anymore) and I will be singing songs from Nashville alone on my couch. But we’ll have a really great time talking about it. And that’s really my only hope for That’s Normal this year. That we can write about things we love, actors we drool over, things that make us laugh, hang out with old pals & meet new friends along the way.
And if at the end of 2013 that’s how That’s Normal was successful, I’ll be thrilled! As long as I can write my 2013 wrap-up post from a real kitchen table.
Happy New Year from us at TN! See you back here on Wednesday for some epic 2013 shenanigans.
Do you do the Resolution thing? Any good ones you’d like to share?
