Confession: I have been known to go Youtube diving for hours — watching videos, clicking on related videos, and then another and another until I either fall asleep with my glasses poking my side or my laptop dies (often both). It was during one of these diving expeditions, that I fell into the abyss of Kristen Bell youtube clips. Now, most people would assume that I saw the Kristen Bell interview clip on Ellen and that’s where my fangirling started.
And I have seen this clip, and watched it multiple times, like a good bestie would, but I was already a fan at this point. The REALLY great gems are Kristen’s interviews on The Late Late show with Craig Ferguson. I first heard Craig Ferguson tell the eleventh doctor, Matt Smith, that he was his favorite guest, next to Kristen Bell. (you can skip ahead to 6:05.)
Color me intrigued… what was this feud with Geoff? Why was Matt seemingly interested in Kristen, and most of all, why was she Craig’s favorite guest? Like any normal girl, spending way too much time on the internet, I took to the youtubes and watched EVERY SINGLE INTERVIEW – even interviews from her time as Veronica Mars.
What was wrong with me? Was I discovering a new strain of Krisbianism? The thing was, I didn’t want to know her nail polish color, or make her picture my avi, I wanted to hang out, laugh, be friends. She’s just one of those people who are adorkable and seem approachable. Take this clip for example:
Now tell me the “Shark Bite” band-aid didn’t win you over? Are you with me now? Can we all campaign for her to be our besties? (Not creepy at all, nope).
